Secret to Pickin an Area

When going on a pick, do your homework first. Research the area, the city, when was the city established. This will help with potential items in that area. Was there a pottery or glass factory in the area years ago, etc? Then research Ebay, Collector's Weekly, and Google for these items and what they are selling for...this doesn't mean you will get this price. As you know, Fenton as an example, has many colors, styles, types and lots of sellers. Find rare pieces and research those. Make notes. This will allow you to be more aware of what is selling and also will give you an idea of the price you are willing to pay.

Do your homework-it will pay off at the end of the day.
